Smith Design is a WBENC full-service Brand Design Agency based in NJ with over 40 years of experience in creating breakthrough visual solutions for brands to win in the marketplace. In addition to strategic brand design (visual branding, packaging, graphics, and structural concepts) we also extend visual and verbal strategy to various digital and physical touchpoints including social content development, web sites, in-store POS, activation, corporate identities, style guides, and environments. We also have an in-house photography/videography studio, professional kitchen, and research facility to offer our clients a true full-service branding experience.

The  Associate Account Manager  position involves working with our Account Manager Directors acting as the liaison between the director, clients, designers and production teams management as the first point of contact, answering client queries and to increase client satisfaction. The right candidate is dedicated and is able to effectly multi-task several projects on a daily basis ensuring the client work is completed appropriately and on time.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive inter-department meetings to gauge workload and always know the active and projected work.
  • Manage daily project status meetings.
  • Responsible for creating proposals.
  • Managing the project budget and design time expectations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate results on time.
  • Facilitate project kick-offs, draft internal strategy identifying goals, objective and scope of the project outlining timeline and resources required.
  • Receive and provide all client direction, questions, and relevant information to teams.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues on the spot to ensure that the flow of work proceeds smoothly.
  • Monitor progress to ensure project stays on track.
  • Establish a strong relationship with all teams.
  • Proficient knowledge of project management software programs.
