Smith Design designed the newest addition to the BIC Soleil line of razors – Soleil Glow. We developed the feminine package design as well as the Glow identity in the hourglass structure provided.

BIC Soleil Shine offers consumers the benefit of 5 flexible blades for caressably smooth skin and a superior shaving experience.




Smith Design's packaging solution was all about communicating both the functional and soothing benefits of BIC Soleil Glow's Comfort Shield razor.


Intended for women seeking protection against skin irritation while shaving, the soft and translucent wave like graphics are meant to mimic the flexible curves and lubricating nature of the actual blades while telegraphing a silky smooth shaving experience.


Our recommended color palette is warm, feminine and inviting while the corresponding illustrations are informative and speak to BIC's superior category innovation.

Smith Design developed a brochure to introduce the new BIC Soleil Brand Positioning. This multi-paged brochure brings the “live colorfully” essence of the brand to life with bright and colorful imagery that supports the positioning and the values of the confident BIC Soleil consumer.

While the final piece does feature the BIC Soleil product lineup, the focus is about visualizing the personality of the brand and conveying BIC Soleil as a beauty solution (vs a razor).
